Finca el Pinar is a property comprised of three houses located the village of Carandia. The property is totally private, enclosed by stone walls and hedges and includes a beautifully landscaped garden bordered by tall pines and shade trees, with the far end overlooking the tranquil Pas River. It’s a beautiful spot for a glass of wine at the end of the day.
The garden around which the houses are set features an expansive lawn, palm trees and a variety of flowering plants and shrubs. To one side of the garden is a large swimming pool and adjacent, a small children’s pool, fenced for security and shared by the three houses. There is ample lounging furniture by the pool and scattered throughout the garden. The three houses are well positioned within the grounds to afford privacy for each. In addition to the shared garden and pool, two of the houses, Las Dalias and Las Camellias, have lovely private garden areas with lawn and landscaped beds with flowers and shrubs. All of the houses have their own private covered dining terraces with teak dining tables, chairs and a barbecue. The houses, all single story, accommodate 4-5 people. They were built and designed in fine Spanish tradition and feature pastel stucco facades with half-timbered accents, red tile roofs, wood-beamed ceilings and ceramic tile floors. The charming interior decor includes colorful walls and fabrics, lovely ceramic tile work, comfortable furnishings and all modern appliances and conveniences. All three houses have similar floor plans. Entry is into an open-plan living-dining room. There is a sitting area with upholstered sofa and easy chairs grouped around a wood coffee table. Adjacent is a dining alcove with a wood table and chairs. A low wall with exposed brick wainscoting is a warm accent to the dining area. A doorway near the dining area opens to the kitchen. It is fully-equipped with all appliances and has ample counter space, white cabinets and beautiful ceramic tile walls with charming frieze borders. A large passthrough with wood counter opens to the dining alcove and living room. Each house has 3 bedrooms: one with double, one with twins and another with a single bed best for a child. They are all decorated with wood beds, side tables, lamps, pretty bedcovers, and curtains and have ample wardrobe space. On the hall is a full bathroom with tub or shower, sink and toilet facilities. The bathroom also sports fine ceramic tile work. Finca el Pinar is a property with great character and appeal. Ideal for small families or couples. Also a great setting for larger groups of families and friends who want to be together and enjoy the privacy of separate accommodations. *Note: the owners live in a house bordering the property.
