At Home in Spain is a specialty agency assisting travelers to Spain in renting vacation homes in the Spanish countryside. It is a service of At Home in France, LLC, which has been assisting travelers to France since 1995. In Spain, our selective portfolio features privately-owned cottages, farmhouses and villas located in Andalucía, the sunny south of Spain.
As both names suggest, Spain and France are our specialties. Every year, we travel to inspect properties. Our standards are rigorous, ensuring that properties meet the requirements and expectations of our clients. Whether modest or deluxe, traditional or contemporary, all of our homes have to pass one critical test: "Would we be happy to stay there ourselves?"

When you contact us, you'll learn much more than photos can convey. Based on our first-hand knowledge of the properties, we’ll tell you candidly what we think of the home(s) you’ve selected – the layout, the decor, the amenities, the setting. And once we know more about your style and preferences, we can suggest other properties you may not have considered. We want you to have the perfect surroundings to discover the pleasures of life in the Spanish countryside. In short, we want you to feel "At Home in Spain."

When going to Spain and France, work with experts. Allow us to introduce the owners of At Home in Spain and At Home in France, Allyn Kaufmann and Bruce Dicoskey. When you choose our companies, you’ll work with them directly and take full advantage of their expertise. Allyn was bitten by the travel bug as a teenager when she studied French and Spanish. She has been involved in France-related endeavors for 35 years as an educator, editor and entrepreneur. She has lived, worked and traveled extensively throughout France and speaks fluent French. Her travels have also included extended stays in Spain where she lived and worked. Her Spanish is still quite passable, although not on a par with her French.
Bruce is an enthusiastic European traveler and has explored France, England, Switzerland and Spain to date. France is clearly his first love and he has traveled widely there. Together, Allyn and Bruce have helped thousands of satisfied clients from throughout the United States (as well as Latin America, Europe, Asia and Australia) discover wonderful vacation homes and experience French life first-hand. They’re excited about introducing Americans to the delights of life in the south of Spain.

And our service includes responding to all your questions and concerns, before, during and after your trip. Prior to departure and following your return, contact our office at any time. We’re happy to help you design your itinerary and reserve a rental car. For other aspects of your trip, such as air and ground transportation, we can make suggestions or refer you to professional colleagues whose services we are proud to recommend. While you’re in Spain, we have local colleagues available to assist you.
